I am very impatient after watching Monica’s Presentation. The technology moving so fast but we Malaysian move like a tortoise, we are far late for the technology development and we need to move faster to catch-up the new technology.

Cloud computing is one of the fast development technology. Cloud computing is a new system, but the technological trend, IT resources on demand via a network client for accessing ready to find and settle, if they are really needed. This service runs on servers with a provider from. Desktop client terminals can, Notebook, Netbook, Smartphone or tablet PC to be. The Cloud "cloud" offers “as a Service”, So on call – Computing power and memory, "Infrastructure as a Service", Platforms and programming environment, "Platform as a Service" software and "software as a service". (http://mobiles-internet.buemo.net) it will always provide the important service to every one.

Mobile computing is the new technology for today’s generation. Intel and Nokia have announced a strategic, long-term relationship that should bring us “a new class of Intel Architecture-based mobile computing device and chipset architectures”.
According to the two giant companies, their goal is to develop a new mobile platform capable of combining high-bandwidth mobile communications, Internet connectivity, and the power and efficiency of computers.( http://cellbeep.com/)

Game based-learning (GBL) uses competitive exercises, either pitting the students against each other or getting them to challenge themselves in order to motivate them to learn better. Games often have a fantasy element that engages players in a learning activity through a storyline.( http://serc.carleton.edu/introgeo/games/)
From the above technology, it showed we had no way to hide, we need to face to the reality and try as hard as possible to help our students. We can change the world, so we change our self to help our students.

Howsoever, we can’t stop the train of development. In this era, knowledge was spread so fast and if we are slowly to catch it, we absolutely far leave by it. With the development of web 2.0, we are expose to a lot of new technology, we can’t deny that everything are growing and it is actually deep influence our life.

The knowledge now float in the air and flow from the ground, we can pick it with the mobile phone, we can catch it easily with the iphone, ipad, netbook and etc. we are not only read the book but also the e-book, the knowledge before that come from the book now turn into the air. What we breath not only the air, but also information and knowledge.

From the above image, we can see there are a revolution of learning. Teacher can’t stick on his present position and wait for nothing to do. If we still satisfy with the past knowledge and thinking about it is enough for us to teach the new generation, we may exinanition by the student we want to teach but they are know more information and knowledge than us. To keep teacher nobility, we need to change our mind and start to looking forward to become a high ability teacher.

flip or not ?

i do agree what Ramsden (1992) mentioned, " the aim of teaching is simple: it is to make student learning possible."

"Thus far, teachers and students using the Flipped Class model have been very successful in mastering science, mathematics and foreign language." (http://flippedclassroom.com)

"Increasingly, education’s value-add is and will be in the coaching and troubleshooting when students are applying their learning, and in challenging students to apply their thinking to hands-on learning by doing and teaming: so let’s have them do these things in class, not sit and listen. We know that collaboration is a critical skill set which can’t be developed easily either on-line or at home alone– let’s have students learn it with us in our classrooms. Let every classroom be a collaborative problem solving laboratory or studio."( http://www.connectedprincipals.com/archives/3367)

i do agree what ever teacher do is for the student's benefit. if the learning environment suitable to flip the classroom, i will say yes because i just want the student's learning problem solve immediately to reduce the tension of both parties. enjoy the learning is an important part to keep student's passion on learning. if the flip help my Chinese Class, why not?
